- Accounts for the period prior to April 1955 are in the books of the Indian Civil Service Family Pension Fund (Series L/AG/21/33). To use volumes L/AG/21/34/1-7 (1955-1968) it is necessary to refer to two sets of card indexes - these indexes are at present being transcribed for use in the OIOC Reading Room. Against a pensioner's name in the index will appear either an G or M reference. For instance if the reference is M/3-1, and assuming they survived for the entire period 1955-68, their name will appear in all the volumes designated M/3-1, i.e. L/AG/34/3 (1955-60), L/AG/21/34/5 (1960-65) and L/AG/21/34/7 (1965-68). The card index also records the dates of death of those pensioners who died during the years 1955-68.
