- To use volumes L/AG/21/36/14-31 (1956-1968) it is necessary to refer to two sets of card indexes - these indexes are at present being transcribed for use in the OIOC Reading Room. Against a pensioner's name in the index will appear a K/4 reference. For instance if the reference is K/4-1, and assuming they survived for the entire period 1956-68, their name will appear in all the volumes designated K/4-1, i.e. L/AG/21/36/14 (1956-60). L/AG/21/36/20 (1960-64) and L/AG/21/36/26 (1964-68). The card index also records the dates of death of those pensioners who died during the years 1956-68.
