- 'Statements of Contributions' is a series compiled in India, commencing in the 1860s and added to at the India Office. There is a separate statement for each officer, recording the amounts of subscription and donation paid by him in each year from date of joining, and giving the date of his arrival in India, date of marriage (wife's name usually omitted) and his dates of retirement and death, also the names and dates of birth of children. A wife's date of death is occasionally recorded.
