- Annual printed volumes containing a list of all grades of the permanent establishment of the India Office on 1 April, arranged by Departments and posts. Against each officer is recorded the date of his birth, first appointment to East India Company or India Office, current salary, dates of promotion, any special rewards, previous service in another Department and remarks about service reckonable for superannuation. As a preface to each volume there is considerable information about general pay and superannuation conditions. Many of the volumes are heavily annotated in the Accountant General's Department, and of such examples, two or more copies have sometimes been retained. IOR/L/AG/30/18/66-73 duplicate the contents of IOR/L/AG/30/18/1-44.
