- Each volume includes papers about appointments, retirements and cessation of service of individual members of the staff and holders of special posts including members of the Council of India. All the volumes have an index. There are, in addition: a) Reports of sick absences and sick leave b) Civil Service Commission certificates of qualification c) Petitions concerning conditions of service d) Letters to and from the Treasury on matters affecting the Home Civil Service. Up to the present time, only Volumes IOR/L/AG/30/22/15 and IOR/L/AG/30/22/21-60 inclusive have been found but the periods covered by the others are known.
