BLENHEIM PAPERS. Vols- CCCXXXIII, CCCXXXIV (ff. 170, 165). Correspondence with Sidney Godolphin, 1st Earl of Godolphin. Partly copies and imperfect. Including (61433, ff. 31, 37) correspondence of Godolphin with his sister Jael, widow of Edward Boscawen, M.P., [1695?], [1699?]. The letters of 1701-1711 are printed in The Marlborough-Godolphin Correspondence, ed. Snyder, with the exception of a letter from Godolphin of 8 March [ 1701] (61433, f. 73), and two autograph copies of letters from the Duchess, probably to Godolphin, 1709 (61434, ff. 90, 93). It should also be noted that the first sheet of Godolphin's letter of 9 Nov. [1704], printed as Snyder No. 740, is there misdated [1706], and the second sheet, printed as No. 171, is misdated [?7 May 17031 (61434, ff. 11-14); the first sheet of the letter of [9 Nov. 1706], printed as No. 693, is misdated [17 Sept. 1706], and the second sheet is printed as part of No. 740 (61434, ff. 50-53).
