[Add. 72439 incorporates documents relating to Weckherlin's career, including several petitions and an order dated 4 Feb. 1649/50 for surrender of papers to his successor in the Secretaryship, John Milton. Among the correspondents are Martin Opitz, Ludvig Camerarius, Johannes de Laet, Hermann Mylius, Sir Simonds D'Ewes, John Dury and Matthew Lister.
