Althorp Papers. Vols. mxciii-mcxli. Administrative papers; 1816-1835, n.d. Partly printed. The papers in this series include memoranda, financial documents, correspondence and petitions, and concern general government administration as well as the business of the Treasury and the Exchequer. Very few papers are earlier in date than 1830 and some of these may be copies made between 1830 and 1834. Some of the material originated in other government offices, such as the Office of Customs, the War Office and the Irish Office. On many letters are pencil notes by Thomas Drummond, private secretary to Lord Althorp from 1833-1834.
