ORIGINAL correspondence of the Earl and Duke of Lauderdale connected with his several offices in the government of Scotland, with numerous petitions, addresses, and other papers, from 1630 to 1678, and with a few additional letters addresed to the Duchess of Lauderdale and others, chronologically arranged. The sequence continues from 1678 to 1688 in Add. 23242-23251.
