EGMONT PAPERS. Vols. CXIX-CXXIII. Papers relating to the administration of the Perceval estates, 1686-1704, during the minority of Sir Edward, 4th Bart., who died before coming of age in 1691, and of his brother Sir John, 5th Bart., later 1st Lord Egmont. The administration was first undertaken by Katherine Perceval, widow and executrix of Sir John, 3rd Bart., but on her remarriage in 1690 it passed in accordance with the terms of her husband's will to his uncle, Sir Robert Southwell, on whose death in 1701 it devolved on Southwell's son, Edward.
