Title:: Poetry Book Society Choice and Recommendation correspondence
Scope & Content:: Contains correspondence, chiefly with publishers but also containing correspondence with poets and selectors, relating to submissions for the quarterly Choice and Recommendation. Some years’ files are missing one or more quarter’s papers. Some files also contain copy submitted by the authors of each quarter’s Choice and Recommendations for the Society’s quarterly Bulletin. The selected poets were asked to write a short piece about their work for the issue of the Bulletin published in the quarter for which their work was selected as a Choice or Recommendation.
