Scope & Content:

The original paper applications and files for; the Fulbright Senior Specialist Program, US Department of Education Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Program, the Fulbright Scholar Programs, Distinguished Teaching Awards, and Student Programs in the US and UK for the academic years 2004-2013.

The files include the application forms, letters of reference, letters of acceptance or rejection, general correspondence with the Commission about their award, and invoices for financial instalments.

Some files include reports from the scholars and students, or from their supervisors. The reports helped to improve the work of the Commission and offer an insight into the experiences of the Fulbrighters in the US and UK. Some files also include examples of the Scholar's or Student's written work, and others include passport size photographs of the applicants.
