The Intelligence files of the Political Agency, Bahrain contain records of confidential information passed by various sources to the Political Agent, Bahrain. Most of the information is political intelligence relating to Saudi Arabia.
There are only three files:
- reports of the activities of a number of Omani 'darwishes' ['dervishes'] in Bahrain, resulting in the deportation of three of them from Bahrain, 1947 (IOR/R/15/2/627);
- reports from a Bahraini source on political developments in Saudi Arabia, 1933-34 (IOR/R/15/2/628);
- situation reports from His Majesty's Minister, Jeddah on the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Yemen in 1934 (IOR/R/15/2/629).
