This sub-sub-series largely relates to the acquisition of stationery, tools, materials, supplies, and motor vehicles for the Political Agency, Bahrain. The files concerning stationery document the purchase of items such as rubber stamps, notepaper, envelopes, and court fee stamps. Other files concern the acquisition of books and periodicals, bookbinding materials, furniture, fire extinguishers, electrical goods, engine parts, flags and related supplies, tide tables, wireless sets, duplicating machines, and motor vehicles.

Whilst the files mostly consist of correspondence they also contain requisition orders, bills, receipts, annual budget statements, price lists, leaflets, greeting cards, and photographs. Correspondents include the following: the Political Resident in the Persian Gulf; other Political Agents in the Gulf; the Adviser to the Government of Bahrain and other representatives of the Government of Bahrain; a range of merchants, suppliers, publishers and stationers, and a number of Government of India departments.

Other subjects discussed in the files include the storage of gifts received by the Political Residency from tribal chiefs and princes, and the possibility of the Political Residency selling its unwanted electric generating equipment.
