Warrants to Philip Yorke, list Earl of Hardwicke, as Lord Chancellor (1737-1756), to affix the Great Seal to full-powers, ratifications of treaties, etc., copies of which are in each case attached; 1738-1756. Signed by George II., and countersigned by Secretaries of State. Four volumes. The first two deal chiefly with various conventions for the support of Maria Theresa and the treaties of peace of Berlin (1742) and Dresden (1745); the third relates almost entirely to the congress and treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle (1748).
