HARDWICKE PAPERS. Vols. DCCCLII.-DCCCLVI. Briefs of the Hon. Charles Yorke in the King's Bench, 1754-1769. Prefixed are some papers of earlier date, 1745-1753. The series includes crown briefs in several State Trials, including those of Florence Hensey and John Shebbeare in June, 1758, Earl Ferrers in 1760 and Peter Annet in 1763, also some papers in the case of John Wilkes, 1768. At the beginning of Vol. II. is a brief in a suit against Charles Yorke at Maidstone Assizes. The names of the causes are included in the index. Five volumes. Paper. Folio.
