EGMONT PAPERS. Vols. CCLIV-CCLVII. Miscellaneous collections on heraldry and genealogy by Sir Richard St. George, Clarenceux King of Arms, compiled from charters, patents of nobility, plea rolls, escheats, etc., in both public and private collections; circ. 1604-1628. Latin and English. The MSS. were received in the Department in their contemporary bindings of vellum (Vols. CCLIV, CCLVI) and leather (Vols. CCLV, CCLVII), with armorial bookstamps of Sir Richard St. George on front and back covers (except Vol. CCLVI), and each bearing an ex libris inscription with dates covering the period 1604-1607. Indexes (Vol. CCLIV, list of contents) at the end of each volume. Four volumes:-
