(3) Request for payment (1 October, 1945) from The Coleshill Car Hire Service, with two Postal Order counterfoils settling in full.
(4) Letter (28 November, 1945) to The Colonial Office, Whitehall, requesting a Visa: 'I wish to go home immediately to revive my grandfather's firm of S Tambimuttu & Sons (Publishers)'.
(5) Two letters (17 January and 25 February, 1948) from Hilary Corke (Hon Sec, Oxford University English Club), inviting Tambimuttu to address the Club, dining with Corke and Michael Hamburger before the meeting, with a reply from Tambimuttu in confirmation (27 February, 1948).
