(2) Invitation to lunch from Lady Frieda Harris, by postcard [October, 1945], with reply (22 October, 1945) confirming.
(3) Letter (manuscript, 8 April, 1946) from Ida Hughes-Stanton, inviting Tambimuttu for the Easter holiday.
(4) Invitation from ISS (International Student Service) to give a talk on Lorca on 16 March, 1948; with a positive reply (27 February), requesting to speak on Sakuntala instead.

(11) Letter (typescript, dated 10 February only) from Capt Harold E Musson [written no earlier than 1944, when Musson was promoted to the rank of Captain], responding to Tambimuttu's request for details of how Musson proposed 'to collaborate' in the future. [Musson was ordained in Sri Lanka as a Theravada Buddhist monk in 1950, and was thereafter known as Nanavira Thera.]
(12) Copy letter (typescript, 22 April, 1947) from Tambimuttu to Ralph [Pieris], written following an accidental meeting at Grosvenor Court Hotel, and providing Pieris with 'a picture of my state of existence in London today'. The letter (3 sheets) is incomplete.
