(2) pp. 197-221, Regulations for the Police of the Collectorships in Bengal, Bihar and Orissa, passed by the Governor-General in Council 7th Dec. 1792. (3) pp. 223-47, Regulations in Matters of Judicature and Police recommended by Bengal, Madras, and Bombay Governments. The Board of Police was to secure Persons and Property and also to deal with Paving, Lighting, and Sanitary Arrangements, to regulate prices of provisions, &c. (4) pp. 251-347, Notes respecting the Police in the Madras Presidency.
