Passages in Isabel Burton's hand of revised passages of Burton's autobiography. With occasional additions by Burton and printed excerpts and proof sheets pasted in. The first 17 folios, which have contemporary numeration, are written on sheets which appear to have been torn from a volume similar to that of Burton MS 1, the last being largely in a different and unidentified hand; continued on smaller sheets of lined paper, the first of which is date-stamped, '12 Aug. 1887', and with contemporary numeration 24-35, and ending with additions on miscellaneous sheets of unnumbered letter paper.
