- 18 December, 1980. David Duguid, Penguin Books Ltd, to Swift, with typed 'list of queries arising from the copy-preparation of Shuttlecock' to which Swift has provided responses (photocopy, 6 sheets).
- 2 January, 1981. Swift to Duguid. Carbon copy.
- 5 January, 1981. Duguid to Swift, with typed list of 'possible elisions' to p. 12 only.
