Annual administration report of the Bombay Presidency, providing a summary record of the main events and developments in each department of the Government of Bombay during the financial year 1936-37. The report was printed at the Government Central Press, Bombay [Mumbai], in 1938.
The report begins with ‘PART I - GENERAL SUMMARY’ (ff 6-16), and ‘PART II’ is then divided into the following chapters, most of which are further divided into sub-headings:
- ‘CHAPTER I - ADMINISTRATION OF THE LAND’ (ff 17-18), consisting of: Land Records; Wards and other Estates

A table of contents listing the parts, chapters and sub-headings of the report is on folios 4-5. In a small number of instances there are discrepancies in the phrasing or inclusion of sub-headings between the table of contents and the body of the report. In these cases the sub-heading as it appears in the table of contents is included above.
The volume includes appendices (ff 90-92) and a subject index (ff 92-94) with reference to the original pagination.
