1. 1983. Best of Young British Novelists promotion by the Book Marketing Council. Letter to Swift (23 August, 1982) advising that he has been chosen as one of the novelists to be promoted during the period 28 February - 12 March 1983. With associated marketing materials, a group photograph of the chosen authors (colour, 200 x 245mm), photocopies of press coverage and a complete issue of Sunday Times Magazine (13 February, 1983) with a feature entitled 'Ripe for Promotion' (pp. 30-3) which includes the same colour photograph.
2. 1983. Interview and reading schedule on the publication of Waterland. With two letters from William Heinemann Ltd.
3. 1988. Interview and reading schedule on the publication of Out of This World. With two newspaper cuttings (The Times and The Sunday Times).
4. 1991-92. Annotated Agenda of meeting (1 November 1991) to discuss the promotion of Ever After. Interview and reading schedule (1992) on the publication of Ever After, including a list of guests for publication party. With three appreciative letters and three appreciative cards.
