Decision that the Government of India, at their discretion, are at liberty to permit Ruling Chiefs, enjoying a salute of 11 guns or over, to grant medals, etc., provided that the limitation as to wearing of State medals or badges outside the State only by State subjects in immediate attendance on a Ruling Chief is strictly observed. Objection to the presentation by the Governor of a Presidency or any local representative of the British Government, of medals, etc., granted by a Ruling Chief either to subjects of the State or to British subjects.
