Foliation: the foliation system in use starts at the front cover and ends at the back cover and appears as a sequence of numbers written in pencil and enclosed in a circle, in the top right hand corner of each recto folio. The following foliation anomalies occur: folio 1 is followed by folios 1A to 1D; folio 26 is followed by 26A to 26I. A second (incomplete) foliation sequence also appears, starting on folio 2 and continuing to the end of the file notes (folio 160), also written in pencil in the top right hand corner of each recto folio, but not enclosed in a circle.
