- Correspondence relating to the negotiations in London with the Sultan of Muscat over articles for inclusion in a new treaty 'to replace the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce and Navigation signed at Muscat on the 19th March, 1891, which terminates on the 11th February, 1939.' The file includes drafts of the articles 1 to 23 with notes in the margin where the Sultan proposed a different wording. Correspondents include the Political Resident in the Persian Gulf; India Office, Whitehall; Secretary to the Government of India in the External Affairs Department; and the Colonial Office, London.
