This file contains correspondence between British officials regarding a decision taken by the Ottoman Tapu Office to allow the registration of properties in Iraq in the names of Shaikh Mubārak Āl Ṣabāḥ of Kuwait and Shaikh Khaz‘al bin Jābir al-Ka‘bī of Mohammerah.
On ff 14-15 the file contains copies in English and Arabic of a document entitled 'Assurances to Shaikh of Koweit regarding his property on the Shatt al Arab dated 3rd November, 1914'.
