This file contains correspondence between Captain George Leslie Mallam, acting British Political Agent at Bahrain and Lieutenant Colonel Francis Beville Prideaux, British Political Resident in the Persian Gulf at Bushire.
These papers concern the case an Egyptian schoolteacher resident in Bahrain named Muḥammad ‘Alī (alias Sayyid Aḥmad) who is accused of the assault and wrongful restraint of a small boy in the unauthorised school that he was running in Manamah.
