This file contains correspondence between Clive Kirkpatrick Daly, British Political Agent at Bahrain, and the British Political Resident at Bushire, as well as copies of correspondence between the Political Resident and the Foreign Department of the Government of India at Simla.
The correspondence concerns the personality of ‘Alī bin Khālid and his deportation to Bombay for life in September 1923 from Bahrain as a result of his attacks on the Shiah community on Sitrah island. Also contained within this file are details about his two brothers, Ibrāhīm and Salmān.
