- This file contains correspondence between Cornelius James Pelly, British Political Agent at Bahrain; the Commanding Officer of the HMS Wren; and Charles Dalyrmple Belgrave, Adviser to the Bahrain Government. These correspondence concern a number of desertions of Somali naval officers from the HMS Wren and HMS Loch Glendhu who were possibly recruited for labour in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
