This file contains correspondence regarding arrangements for a number of British policemen to be seconded to work for the Bahrain Police Force.
The file contains correspondence covering the following: the reason why the British police officers are needed; the logistics needed to facilitate their secondment; discussions over pay, contracts and clothing; the applications of a number of British policemen; and discussions concerning the police officers' duties in Bahrain. Also included is a limited amount of correspondence regarding the officers' arrival and subsequent conduct in Bahrain.
