The file consists of correspondence relating to a range of matters concerning the government of Bahrain and its people. The correspondence is mostly between the Political Agency in Bahrain and the Adviser to the Government of Bahrain, Charles Dalrymple Belgrave. The papers cover many miscellaneous and administrative matters, including:
