The file contains correspondence relating to the appointment and transfer of Government of Bahrain officials. The correspondence is between the Adviser to the Government of Bahrain, the Political Agency in Bahrain, the India Office, and the External Affairs Department of the Government of India. The papers concern new appointments within the Government of Bahrain and the appointment of acting officials for those on leave. Much of the correspondence is routine in nature and is connected with the recuperation of costs for travel and shipping for incoming and outgoing employees.
