- The file consists of papers concerning the import into Bahrain from India of certain consignments of fresh fruit (peaches and pears), July to November 1934, including the statement from the Officiating Political Agent, Bahrain (M Worth) in response to an enquiry from the Agriculture Officer, North West Frontier Province, Peshawar, India that Europeans would be very likely to buy fresh fruit from India; and correspondence over a proposal by the Adviser to the Government, Bahrain (Charles Dalrymple Belgrave) to obtain oranges from Palestine for sale in Bahrain, and the difficulty of bringing such consignments through Iraq, November to December 1942.
