- Correspondence exchanged between the Political Agent at Bahrain (Lieutenant-Colonel Percy Gordon Loch) and representatives in Calcutta [Kolkata] and London of His Master’s Voice Gramophone Company Limited, concerning the purchase by the Political Agent of a gramophone recording of Cock o’ the North (a military march and traditional Scottish bagpipe piece) to be taught to the Bahrain Armed Police. Much of the correspondence concerns arrangements for the delivery of the record from London to Bahrain, and billing arrangements for the purchase.
