The file contains telegrams and correspondence regarding arrangements for visits of officers of the Political Residency to Bahrain and other Persian Gulf countries:
- the tours of the Assistant Engineer, Independent Persian Gulf, Bushire, in June 1934, January and November 1937, and October-November 1939;
- Her Royal Highness Princess Alice and the Earl of Athlone's visit to Bahrain in March 1938;
- Residency Surgeon's tours of the Gulf in May 1935, in August - September 1938, and in January - March 1942.
The file also contains a Leaflet of the Bahrain Government Rest House Services.
