The file contains correspondence in the form of reports sent by the Police Department to the Political Agency in Bahrain between 1930 and 1934. The reports are on individual cases including domestic violence, robbery, infidelity, harassment, brawls, alcohol [‘arak] manufacturing and consumption, shoplifting, insults, and the abuse of land and properties.
Each report contains the name of the defendant, the complainant, and their witnesses; these are mostly among the residents of Bahrain including Bahrainis and foreign subjects of Bahrain. The reports also contain the dates and locations of the cases, besides the dates of the reports themselves. The file is mainly in Arabic.
