This file contains correspondence between British officials related to the development of education in Kuwait. The correspondence relates to a number of issues including the possibility of Kuwaiti students studying in Iraq or Palestine, the need to expand education in Kuwait, assistance from the British Council and a visit made to the country by a British educational expert named C R L Adrian-Vallance.
The file contains a report on education in Kuwait written by Adrian-Vallance (folios 110-120 in English and folios 139-147 in Arabic).
The majority of the correspondence is between British officials but the file also contains some correspondence between Shaikh Ahmad and the Political Agency in Kuwait that is in Arabic (accompanied by English translations).
