This file contains correspondence between British officials in Iraq and Kuwait (primarily at the Combined Intelligence Centre in Basra and the Political Agency in Kuwait) regarding a visit to Kuwait of a small British team from Iraq to complete a survey concerning the possibility of constructing a railway from Basra (via Zubair and Umm Qasr) to Kuwait.
The file also contains a limited amount of correspondence between the Ruler of Kuwait, Shaikh Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah and the Political Agency in Kuwait (in Arabic with English translations).
