This file is comprised of a list of intelligence summaries and diaries which, according to the file, were 'destroyed by fire in February 1941.'
The file lists over thirty intelligence summaries, diaries and reports, ranging in date from 1928 to 1939, which appear to have been destroyed at the Kuwait Political Agency as a matter of procedure. At the rear of the file is a copy of a procedure, dated 19 December 1945, for the disposal of particular diaries, intelligence summaries and news reports. For instance, it is advised that Aden intelligence summaries be destroyed 'after perusal', whereas political agency diaries are to be destroyed 'two full years after receipt'.
