The volume, marked confidential, is Gazetteer of Persia, Volume IV, prepared by the General Staff, Army Head Quarters, India, and printed at the Government Monotype Press, Simla, 1910.
At the beginning is a note on the geographical scope of the volume. The main section contains information on villages, towns, districts, forts, wells, physical geography, and roads in Persia. Separate to the main body of the volume are sheets of additions and corrections (folios 345-75).
