This file contains correspondence between British officials, primarily at the Political Agency in Muscat and the Political Residency in Bushire, regarding two subjects:
- A petition presented to the Government of Bombay by a group of British Indian merchants in Muscat requesting a revision to the terms of the Muscat Order in Council of 1867.
- Details concerning the consecration of a Christian cemetery in Muscat.
