This file concerns relations between the Sultan of Muscat and Oman [Sa‘īd bin Taymūr Āl Sa‘īd] and Isa bin Salih [Shaikh ‘Īsá bin Ṣāliḥ al-Ḥārthī]. The correspondence, of which around half is written in Arabic, features the following principal correspondents: the Political Agent and Consul, Muscat; the Sultan of Muscat and Oman; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Muscat; Isa bin Salih. Much of the correspondence concerns Isa bin Salih's declining health and his request to receive medical treatment in Bahrain.
