Letters, copies of press releases and notes relating to the Salman Rushdie Campaign group's work. Includes papers relating to the hire of Westminster Central Hall for an event planned to mark Salman Rushdie's one thousandth day under the fatwa. The event was supposed to be held on 11th November 1991 however it was cancelled following concerns about the effect of such an event on hostages held at the time in the Middle East.
