The volume contains parts 4 and 5 of the subject ‘Mesopotamia: Trade’. Part 4 (IOR/L/PS/10/368/1) concerns trade missions to Mesopotamia [Iraq] and the Persian Gulf at the end of the First World War (1914-1918) by the British Trade Corporation and others. Part 5 (IOR/L/PS/10/368/2) concerns the preparation of a new and up to date report on trade conditions in the region.
Each part includes a divider which gives the subject and part numbers, the year the subject file was opened, the subject heading, and a list of correspondence references contained in that part by year. This is placed at the back of the correspondence.
