The file contains correspondence, mainly telegrams, relating to British propaganda forwarded to the Persian Gulf for dissemination.
It largely consists of fortnightly telegrams from the Public Relations Officer/Publicity Officer, Bahrein [Bahrain], to the Secretary of State for India, reporting on the use made of circular and special information telegrams.
It also includes: copies of circular Empax telegrams sent from the Secretary of State [presumably the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs] to the Political Agent, Bahrein, Public Relations Officer, Bahrein, and HM Minister Kabul; and telegrams from HM Minister, Kabul, addressed to the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
