- Copies of correspondence exchanged between British officials (the Foreign Office, the Board of Trade, and the British Consulate at Sistan and Kain [Ka’īn]), and between Raymond Cecil Parr of the British Legation at Tehran, and the Persian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mirza Mohamed Ali Khan Feroughi, concerning the imposition of taxes in Persia [Iran] upon certain imported goods, notably imported alcoholic products. Letters from Feroughi, along with details of the Persian Government’s new taxes, are in French.
