An official publication entitled Who’s Who in Persia [Iran] produced by the General Staff, India.
At the start of the publication is a list of ministers who had served in the Cabinet of the Government of Persia from the coronation of Sultan Ahmed Shah [Aḥmad Shāh Qājār] on 21 July 1914 to January 1918.
The rest of the volume comprises an alphabetical list of persons, including ministers, politicians, members of the Court, military officers, local governors, tribal chiefs, diplomats, religious leaders, and notable foreign residents. Some tribes are also included. Entries are accompanied by biographical notes, primarily covering personal and family histories and political activity. Some genealogical tables are also included.
The publication was printed in Calcutta [Kolkata] in 1918 and is marked ‘SUPERINTENDENT GOVERNMENT PRINTING, INDIA’.
