- This file consists a bundle of papers relating to the rupture in 1817 [the Battle of Kirki] and its after effects. It includes drafts of letters before and after the rupture, notes on Mountstuart Elphinstone's proceedings for orders for the summary execution of plunders and treasoners, Captain Robertson's appointment, proceedings towards Naroba Oritia and notes on the terms and agreements between the East India Company and the Marathas. It also includes drafts of letters from Elphinstone on Mr WHL Bulwer's motion in the House of Commons in 1833. Folios 22, 71 and 73 are blank
